Dental implants are a permanent solution for replacing missing teeth. They look and feel like your natural teeth, and they are the only tooth replacement that preserves your jawbone.

The implant is placed into the jaw bone where the missing tooth was, and it heals in a process called osseointegration. This usually takes 3 to 6 months. Then, the connector piece (abutment) is attached to the implant and the new tooth is placed onto the abutment.잠실임플란트
Some dental insurance policies cover the cost of dental implants. For patients who aren’t covered, the cost can be prohibitive. At ARCHPOINT, we offer financing through CareCredit® and Compassionate Finance.0.1치과
Traditional implants require multiple appointments and a healing period. This can be challenging and uncomfortable for many patients, especially when they must wear a temporary denture. Same day implants allow patients to walk out of the office with their new restorations in place, but they can have a higher risk of failure and additional treatment costs.
The most common reason for implant failure is poor oral hygiene, which can lead to a destructive bacterial infection called peri-implantitis. This can be prevented with regular toothbrushing and flossing, and routine professional cleanings. Other causes of implant failure can be excessive biting forces, which may indicate clenching or grinding, or an insufficient number of implants to handle the bite. In these cases, a bone graft can be used to increase the amount of bone in the area.
